Kaylen and I have been in the kitchen this week experimenting with new recipes. I picked up a gallon strawberries from Kelley's Berry Farm last Saturday at market and made jam with them this week. Tonight we baked Vanilla Whoopie Pies (added real Vanilla Bean seeds too), made our signature filling and added some of the jam to it. The cakes are light, spongy and the cream sweet with a taste of Summer.
