We’re kicking off summer on June 5th with Farmapalooza 2010. This year, we’re going green with help from the Live Green/Think Green Partnership of Franklin. Learn more about how to reduce, reuse & recycle for a healthier, greener life. Get the free “Sprouts for Sprouts” plants in eco-friendly cow-poop pots for the kids to take home. The Master Gardeners of Williamson County will have gardening info and advice for you and you can pick up the big blue bags for Franklin’s new curbside recycle program. Chef Shane Kelly will cook up some wonderful recipes for ‘green’ meals and show you how to do it in your own kitchen. As always, there’s great food and music and prizes too. Go green at Farmapalooza Saturday June 5th, 8am - 1pm.
Pink Sugar Bowl has several things planned at our booth Saturday but the most important is the introduction and raffle of our new 9" Whoopie Pie Cake. We will have a fresh pie with us that day and raffle proceeds will go to the Heylen Fikadu sponsorship (for more information click HERE ).
