What's a Whoopie Pie you ask? Hailed from the Midwest and East Coast states, Whoopie Pies are sometimes mistaken for Moon Pies, however the two couldn't be more different! Whoopie Pies consist of two not so sweet cake-like cookie halves filled with a sweet, fluffy vanilla filling in the middle. There are many different versions of pies out there and twice as many recipes. By tweaking my great-grandmothers, mom and I created what we believe is the perfect Whoopie Pie!

There are many stories about where the Whoopie Pie originates and why they were created. Growing up I was told they were made by the Amish women as a treat for their husbands and children. And that when they would discover the delicious treat in their lunch sack they would exclaim "Whoopie!".

So for those of you who have never eaten a pie here's the lowdown!
You can eat them straight from the freezer or refrigerator for a cool, ice-cream like treat. Or, if you're like me and want to experience the full flavor, eat it at room temp!
Whoopie Pies can be left at room temperature for up to five days, in the fridge for two weeks or the freezer up to six months. Possibly a year but they are usually eaten up before then!
To eat a pie peel back the saran wrap covering halfway, using the remaining wrap to hold the pie. A good pie will leave moist cake on your fingers, so to keep the mess to a minimum always use the built in holder!

Chocolate Popcorn is a yummy treat when you want something salty and sweet. We use the finest chocolate, sea salt and kernel corn. The base popcorn we offer is white chocolate and dark chocolate. As delicious as they are on their own you can add your preferred mix-ins for an additional cost. Or you can add edible glitter or custom sprinkles to the white for weddings, baby and bridal showers, birthday parties or holidays.
